Copper Parrot Heads are primarily used to see in real time the Alcoholic Strength of your distillation as it comes out the still. The Parrot Head is placed after the condenser outlet, allowing the distillate to flow through on its way to the collection container. It's handy because the parrot will hold your hydrometer, so you can take real-time readings of the alcohol percentage during the distillation process without having to transfer to a hydrometer jar. Don’t place Parrot under the outlet immediately at the start of distillation wait until it starts dripping into your collection chamber. If you need to discard the first 150ml (as per instructions) then you can. Also, as all my Parrot Heads are handmade, and may have the odd solder run, or heat blemish. I endeavor to remove any, but some may still remain.Refunds and returns:Please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
